Affirm is a remote-first company enabling people to pay over time with clarity and transparency. You will build web apps using React or Vue, ship mobile apps with React Native, and design APIs at scale with Kotlin or Python.

Collaboration with product management, design and analytics is essential to balance trade-offs and deliver reliable software. You will own the development lifecycle, write well-tested code, and participate in ongoing growth through reviews and interview involvement.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing and launching APIs in Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to translate problems into multi-component solutions with tested, extensible code.
• Strong debugging and code-review skills across large codebases.
• Ownership mindset with proactive feedback seeking and growth.
• Strong verbal and written communication for a global team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
