Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Focus on backend or full‑stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby or Python.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript frontend.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, caching, and database optimization.
• Ability to consume APIs and integrate frontend with backend services.

Responsibilities

• Implement features and services across multiple codebases with appropriate design patterns.
• Write, test, and maintain high‑quality code (TypeScript, Python, Ruby).
• Craft thoughtful PRs and guide reviewers on key feedback areas.
• Document technical designs and lead design reviews with coaching.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and onboard new team members.
• Utilize AI and data‑powered components in production with privacy safeguards.
