Job summary

Lawelawe Defense Inc in the United States seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise web applications.

The role emphasizes full-stack expertise with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, and Angular, plus building secure cloud environments on AWS and RESTful APIs. You will guide teams in Agile settings, perform code reviews, and collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5–7 years of relevant experience; or Master’s with 3–5 years.
• Active CompTIA Security+ / IAT level II certification.
• Active Secret clearance.
• US citizenship required.
• Strong experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Frontend development with Angular, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with Node.js for backend services or build tooling.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Agile development processes (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of robust, high-performance applications using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design with Angular, HTML5, and CSS.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments on AWS.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring efficient data flow between layers.
• Guide technical teams, conduct code reviews, establish best practices, and drive CI/CD initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders, product managers, and UI/UX designers in an Agile environment to translate requirements into solutions.
