Job summary

Wisdom is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end software problems, from schema design to billing pipelines and React surfaces used by dental billers and practice operators.

We work with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Postgres, and AWS, solving hard, HIPAA-compliant challenges while shipping production systems at scale in a fully remote role reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production software with high reliability and impact.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major LLM API (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI).
• Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript; Python or C# a plus.
• Relational databases design, query optimization, and data integrity under load.
• Cloud infrastructure in AWS or GCP; production-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship production-grade features across the full stack (backend, cloud, React).
• Build AI-powered, scalable agentic workflows for complex billing decisions.
• Architect robust integrations with carrier and practice-management systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
• Collaborate with dental billers and operators to translate problems into software.
• Maintain code quality, reliability, and operational health with documentation.
