Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 15 years of software development experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with TypeScript, C++ or Python.
• Proficiency in real-time processing including threads, scheduling and memory management.
• Experience with container technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with SAST remediation.
• Experience with Agile development using Atlassian tools.
• Experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debugging and maintenance.
• Experience with Git products.
• Experience with RTOS, Linux and/or VxWorks.
• Familiarity with DO-178C and nuclear software development processes.
• Familiarity with peer reviews, version control, defect tracking and release practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
• Resolve software problem reports and provide input to system design tradeoffs.
• Analyze requirements and synthesize requirements from system level to software components.
• Contribute to software components of system design including hardware/software tradeoffs and reuse.
• Work with safety-critical and nuclear software development practices as applicable.
