STR’s Systems Development Division (SDD) seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and test C++ software for complex embedded radar systems, with a primary focus on Air-to-Air applications.

You will translate requirements into designs, implement robust real-time software, and build test frameworks. A TS clearance and strong C++14 expertise are required to succeed in this role.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in C++14 and software engineering techniques including multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with larger software systems, including unit and system-level testing.
• Familiar with GitLab, CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks, and code quality tools.

Mansioni

• Translate system and software requirements into designs compliant with constraints.
• Implement robust C++ software for mission-critical, real-time systems.
• Develop test frameworks to verify implementation and performance of C++ software.
• Utilize and improve DevSecOps development practices.
• Participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture, and tests.
• Document software designs and interfaces.
• Develop analysis tools.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and implement corrections.
