Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of a next-generation data platform. You will collaborate with data engineers, product management, and backend teams to design, build, test, and deploy scalable cloud solutions for real-time data pipelines.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering, strong Scala, Java or Python, experience with streaming technologies, cloud architecture, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• 2+ years Scala design, development, testing.
• Experience with real-time streaming and batch processing (Spark/Flink).
• Cloud architecture skills: networking, security, autoscaling, DR.
• API technologies (REST, WebSocket, OAuth, JWT).
• Proficiency in Java or Python in addition to Scala.
• IaC experience (Terraform or equivalent).
• Observability tools experience (Datadog, Azure Monitor, ELK, OpenTelemetry).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Develop, test, and document software and data pipelines.
• Architect real-time streaming and visualization solutions.
• Translate requirements into robust implementation plans.
• Own and improve CI/CD, deployment, and release processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate deployments.
• Provide design documentation and runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical efforts.
