Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Software Developer III - Audio in Salt Lake City. You will design and build full-stack software, focusing on real-time audio and telephony processing, using C#/.NET, Python, and modern JS frameworks.

Lead features, mentor teammates, and apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery. This hybrid role collaborates with product, QA, and UX/UI, ensuring secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong back-end development in C#/.NET Core and Python with robust API design.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Proficient in modern JS/TS front-end frameworks and responsive UI.
• Experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD across major clouds.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted/developer tools in daily workflows.
• Mentorship of junior engineers and technical leadership.
• Proficient in Git and source-control practices.
• Strong testing (unit/integration/E2E) and modern frameworks.
• Telephony/Audio experience with SIP/RTP/SDP or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure full-stack software.
• Lead complex features and diagnose high-impact issues.
• Define coding standards, performance improvements, and architecture.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and UX/UI for delivery.
• Review code, mentor peers, and enforce best practices.
• Incorporate AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and ensure quality.
• Build real-time audio delivery using WebSockets, gRPC, or WebRTC.
• Design SIP signaling parsing and RTP stream reconstruction for call audio.
• Guide projects from requirements to deployment and support.
