Job summary

You will contribute to architecture reviews, optimize for real-time performance, and help shape audio hardware selections while collaborating across Google Beam and Labs groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in C++.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with real-time audio subsystem design, implementation, or validation.
• Experience working with embedded systems or low-level software development (e.g., OS, drivers, firmware).

Responsibilities

• Develop and test product or system development code with low-latency C++ for real-time audio on embedded platforms.
• Participate in design reviews to drive architectural decisions for audio pipelines and DSP selection.
• Review code to ensure real-time performance, memory optimization in embedded Linux, and signal processing accuracy.
