LTA Research and Exploration is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop safety-critical software for a cutting-edge airship project. You will lead requirements, design, testing, and integration across a cross-disciplinary engineering team.

You will work hands-on on RTOS-based embedded systems using C/C++, Python, and scripting, and you will drive CI/CD and validation processes for rapid iterations and reliable releases.

Qualificações

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a Senior Software Engineer role.
• Proficient in Real Time Operating System and Embedded Systems.
• Proficient in C#, C++, Python, and scripting.
• Proficient with GitLab CI/CD build toolchains and releases.
• Familiar with software validation practices and standards.
• Detail oriented, well organized, strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software requirements capture with flight test engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Lead and maintain safety-critical software design for aircraft/airship.
• Develop and integrate safety-critical software and perform validation activities.
• Create comprehensive test sets for verification and validation of software.
• Perform root-cause analysis of issues from testing and field activity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure repeatability and reliability of the Airship software.
• Lead software release activities and training support.
