Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Cinder team to drive design, development, and improvements of ad-serving systems at scale. You will own projects end to end and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, low-latency solutions.

The role emphasizes ownership, data-driven decision making, and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity, while growing technical leadership within a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems to optimize the real-time ad serving flow.
• Develop and maintain ad serving systems handling multi-format ads at high TPS.
• Own and drive projects end to end.
• Partner with other teams to guide technical solutions.
• Maintain a high technical bar for the team.
• Collaborate to improve the overall ad serving ecosystem.
