Job summary

CoStar Group, a leading provider of real estate information and analytics, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in San Diego. You will own full lifecycle development of data-intensive Real Estate Analytics products, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will design, build, test, and deploy code with AI-assisted workflows, mentor peers, and contribute to architectural decisions while maintaining high standards for reliability and maintainability in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college/university.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Deep knowledge of server-side languages and frameworks (C#, .NET Framework, Web API, Node).
• Knowledge of modern front-end languages/frameworks (JavaScript, React).
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with source control, builds, testing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy scalable data-intensive applications.
• Own features end-to-end from development to production.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers and leadership on technical designs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code quality.
• Champion AI-assisted development workflows and tooling.
• Develop deep understanding of the CoStar business and analytics products.
