Job summary

Aviture seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Chicago to join an agile, cross-functional team delivering production-grade software. You'll work across UX, UI, Cloud Engineering (AWS), DevOps, and QA with emphasis on .NET, React, and React Native.

The role requires leadership, mentorship, and a strong grasp of CS concepts, scalable design, and modern development practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
• 7+ years of professional software development and production-grade delivery.
• Advanced knowledge of software testing tools, frameworks, and techniques.
• Proficient in React, React Native, C#, and .NET.
• Experience deploying cloud-native software on AWS.
• UI development experience with ReactJS/React Native.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions to complex technical challenges both independently and with the team.
• Communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms.
• Actively participate in agile development processes and set coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction.
• Decompose complex requirements into iterative deliverables.
• Identify and promote scalable design patterns and robust software quality.
