Job summary

DeWinter Fin Tech Partner is building a greenfield, customer-facing platform. This is a hands-on senior engineering role on a small team with startup ownership, operating within Fidelity-scale standards. Mostly remote with occasional visits to Boston/RI/NH offices.

You will design APIs, build scalable microservices, and connect blockchain data sources to enterprise-grade insurance analytics using Python, TypeScript, and Node.js on AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend experience in Python/TypeScript/Node.js.
• Strong AWS knowledge.
• Experience designing APIs and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with blockchain/crypto technologies.
• Comfortable in fast-paced startup environments.
• Able to work mostly remotely with occasional on-site visits.

• Architect and implement backend services and APIs using Python, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Design and scale data ingestion pipelines for blockchain datasets.
• Build reliable, secure systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Collaborate with data engineers and product leads to define data schemas and platform integrations.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role on a small team building a greenfield, customer-facing platform. The environment has a startup feel - small team, high ownership, fast development but within the scale and standards of Fidelity.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in Python, TypeScript, and Node to help define and build our core data platform. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who thrives in startup environments - someone who can move fast, make smart architectural decisions, and iterate alongside product and data teams.

You'll be responsible for designing APIs, building scalable microservices, and connecting blockchain data sources to enterprise-grade insurance analytics.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement backend services and APIs using Python / TypeScript / Node.js

• Experience designing APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of or strong curiosity about crypto / blockchain technologies.
• Bonus: exposure to insurance data, risk analytics, or regulatory systems.
