Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT environment experience.
• 3+ years with Linux systems.
• 2+ years Python, JSON and shell scripting.
• 2+ years object-oriented programming: Java or C#.
• PostgreSQL database administration experience preferred.
• Salesforce programming: Apex, triggers, SOQL, Visual Force, Force.com.
• Web services development or Salesforce API experience (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with SDLC/Agile development.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Telecommunications is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions on the platform.
• Lead Salesforce.com implementations including custom solutions, integrations, and testing plans.
• Write server-side Python code within an MVC framework for data display and processing.
• Design data models and use PostgreSQL for persistence.
• Perform Linux server administration, maintenance and support.
• Participate in software specification, gap analysis, and requirements analysis.
• Develop proofs-of-concept to confirm requirements.
• Log, track and manage issues, bugs and features.
• Contribute to software release activities and end-user training.
• Follow coding standards and conduct code reviews.
• Adhere to project plans and timelines; mitigate issues.
• Ensure consistency of specifications across subsystems.
• Prepare deliverables and end-user guides.
• Willingness to self-train on new technologies.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Executive Team.
