Job summary

Wayfair in Pennsylvania, USA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to discover and expand concepts in domestic & retail spaces using emerging technologies, build prototypes, and contribute to a broad range of projects.

You will own initiatives from ideation to shipping, collaborate with product, engineering and enterprise teams, and publish and present findings to advance Wayfair’s tech and innovation image.

Responsibilities

• Discover and expand concepts in the domestic & retail space using emerging technologies (including new user interaction technologies, augmented environments, visible computing, and device mastery).
• Perceive high impact possibilities and construct prototypes using available artwork technologies to incrementally validate the possibility.
• Supply engaging reviews that get to the bottom of ambiguity / complexity and show the software of your paintings, and at the same time, through speedy prototyping pass across highly bold issues.
• Coordinate, support, and explore initiatives with internal mobility partners and external technology partners (including Magic soar, Google, Adobe and others).
• Participate inside the tech & creative community by publishing blogs/papers, turning in talks, taking part in panel discussions or engaging in external outreach that amplifies Wayfair’s tech/innovation image.
• Offer technical guidance and collaborate across Wayfair’s product, engineering & commercial enterprise teams for methodology, design, implementation, and release.
• Own initiatives from ideation to shipping, truly speaking scope, fame, risks and challenges.
