Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent (PhD acceptable).
• Minimum 8+ years of R&D experience or 3+ years with a degree in CS/SE/HCI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Explore and extend principles in home and retail using AR/VR, visual computing, and ML.
• Identify high‑impact opportunities and build prototypes to validate them incrementally.
• Deliver clear presentations to resolve ambiguity and demonstrate software solutions; iterate quickly.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and external partners like Magic Leap, Google, and Adobe.
• Engage with the tech community through blogs, talks, and external outreach to promote Wayfair’s technology brand.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate across product, engineering, and enterprise teams for strategy and release.
• Own end‑to‑end work from ideation to shipping, communicating scope, risks, and challenges.
