Job summary

Torc is hiring for a senior data/ML infrastructure engineer to own the Auto Tagger pipeline. You will write production-grade Python, build scalable data pipelines, and manage CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Databricks workloads, and AWS infrastructure as code.

You will partner with ML engineers to move tagging and classification models into a robust, monitored production pipeline, ensuring data quality and scalable performance for petabyte-scale vehicle logs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience including production data pipelines or ML infrastructure.
• Strong Python skills with production data/ML pipelines experience.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience, GitHub Actions required.
• Experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing and orchestration.
• Experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with large-scale time series or unstructured data.
• Observability tooling experience (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Experience deploying ML models into production systems with monitoring and rollback.
• Strong cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and deploy automated event-tagger into production pipelines at scale.
• Build and maintain data engineering pipelines for tagged scenario data.
• Own CI/CD for Auto Tagger using GitHub Actions.
• Write production-grade Python code for ingestion, transformation, modeling, and deployment.
• Build and operate Databricks for data processing and orchestration.
• Design, deploy, and scale AWS infrastructure as code to support high-volume pipelines.
• Instrument pipelines with logging, metrics, and alerting; own on-call for failures and quality regressions.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize tagging and classification models.
