Job summary

Torc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in ML data delivery and pseudo-labeling. You will design and deploy data pipelines, ensure data quality for model training, and collaborate with perception teams to enable on-demand data delivery at scale.

The role emphasizes distributed data processing, ML tooling, and scalable software practices, with a strong focus on Python, PyTorch, and modern data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the offline perception stack and pseudo-label data practices.
• Strong software engineering background for large-scale data pipelines and services.
• Statistical analysis and reporting to translate findings into actions.
• Experience with ML Ops, experiment tracking, model registry, and evaluation.
• Model data curation using Parquet tooling (PyArrow, Daft, Pandas).
• Proficient Python development; experience with CI (GitHub Actions) and Docker.
• Experience with distributed data processing and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Lightning, Ray).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy tooling and pipelines for QC and data labeling.
• Provide statistical support and report pseudo-label quality and pipeline health.
• Support secondary data selection to curate on-demand training data.
• Contribute to building ML data delivery systems for on-demand model training.
• Improve pipelines across pseudo-labeling and data delivery to boost throughput.
