Senior Software Engineer – Post Market Quality (PMQ)

As a Senior Software Engineer in Post Market Quality (PMQ), you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and performance of Roche’s Digital Solutions, handling complaints related to Roche’s sequencing and pathology product portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Act as an autonomous technical investigator, dissecting complex software failures to determine root causes.
• Manage the entire case lifecycle, from initial creation and classification to investigation, collaboration, documentation, and final resolution.
• Escalate unresolved cases to the development department and provide expert guidance on resolution.
• Serve as a senior technical expert and interface with Affiliates and Country Organizations to communicate quality‑related information.
• Leverage automation and data‑analysis skills to improve case handling processes and monitor product performance.
• Support initiatives that enhance regional partnerships within the Digital Solutions Chapter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degrees a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in bioinformatics, IT support, or related functions.
• Strong programming skills – ability to read and debug complex source code across multiple languages.
• Excellent independent problem‑solving skills in ambiguous situations.
• Effective presentation and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Location

Primarily onsite position in Tucson, Arizona. Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

Compensation

Salary range: $77,280 – $143,520. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available.
