Job summary

Exiger in McLean, VA seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead the DDIQ team, transforming raw data into actionable risk insights for our SaaS platform. You will steer architectural direction, develop scalable backend and frontend systems, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality, secure software at scale.

You will drive CI/CD, reliability, and performance while collaborating across backend, data, infrastructure, and UI teams in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Experience as a technical lead or senior engineer responsible for architecture and health of a scaled enterprise application
• Strong system design instincts across app, data, infra and reliability
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes
• Experience with mission-critical API-first SaaS systems
• Experience in PE-backed growth startup environments
• Bonus: FedRAMP/DoD I/L environment familiarity

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for DDIQ end-to-end
• Serve as the senior technical authority across backend, frontend, data and infrastructure
• Manage AI agents to drive SDLC delivery at speed and scale
• Deliver features across services and systems with scalable releases
• Oversee architecture tradeoffs for performance and time-to-market
• Ensure reliability and observability of microservices and production monitoring
• Oversee CI/CD lifecycle, testing, deployments, and cost optimization
