Job summary

Yogi is hiring an experienced software engineer for its Platform Engineering team in New York City. You would report to the co-founder and CTO and work from our downtown office at least four days a week.

You will own end-to-end capabilities, design scalable data models and pipelines, and collaborate with product managers to deliver innovative AI-powered features. You will drive adoption of AI and modern tooling, improve code quality through mentorship, and provide technical support to Customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience shipping software, ideally AI products.
• Ability to drive complex features or subsystems with broad product impact.
• Expert at designing and building scalable and maintainable data models, data pipelines, agentic workflows, and internal tools.
• Skilled at using AI in development and incorporating it into the platform via APIs, pipelines, and MCP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in abstract problem spaces.
• Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a growth mindset, willing to dive into new spaces.
• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Own traditional and agentic capabilities end-to-end, including data models, data pipelines, APIs, web app UI, backend infrastructure, and observability.
• Design and build data models, data integrations and pipelines, and agentic workflows to support product features and user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and product engineers to launch innovative capabilities.
• Adopt and incorporate the latest trends in AI and dev tooling within our product and development process.
• Improve team velocity and code quality through tooling, process, and mentorship.
• Commit clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical support to Customer Success and Sales to accelerate implementations, sell new product offerings, and resolve issues quickly.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced software engineer to join the talented and ambitious folks on Yogi's Platform Engineering team. You would report directly to our co-founder and CTO and work out of our office in downtown New York City at least 4 days per week.
