Job summary

Atoms is building real-world robotics systems for industrial automation, starting with food, mining, and transport. This role focuses on backend tooling and scalable infrastructure to support autonomous systems.

You will work across hardware, software, and AI to deploy reliable, high-performance services. You will design and operate GPU-accelerated environments, cloud and on-prem networks, and robust telemetry for fleet health and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering in production backend systems.
• Experience with Go/C++/Rust/Python in real projects.
• Hands-on cloud infra experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with high-concurrency, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build developer tooling, APIs, and workflows for autonomous systems engineers.
• Operate high-throughput GPU clusters for model training and simulation.
• Design low-latency networking between vehicles and cloud services.
• Develop telemetry, logging, and tracing to monitor fleets in real time.
• Create interfaces between the Transport domain and centralized infra.
