Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking engineers for Prime Video Personalization and Discovery to shape recommendations that show customers the right video content at the right time. You will collaborate with engineers and scientists to build models and services that run at scale and speed, delivering relevant results across global audiences.

You will work on retrieval and ranking, run experiments, and partner with data scientists to deploy models into production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of scalable systems.
• 1+ years in software development engineer or related role.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software.
• Experience with Object Oriented Design.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale services that select and rank videos across Prime Video home and browse experiences.
• Design retrieval and ranking systems for full catalogue, with low latency per customer.
• Take ambiguous problems from design through launch and A/B testing.
• Partner with applied scientists to move models into production.
• Improve platform teams' retrieval paths, configuration, and tooling.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
