Job summary

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on a full-time basis to support a U.S. Government customer. The role involves sustaining critical mission software and systems within a large government contract, working independently or in a team, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

The position is in Annapolis Junction, MD with partial telework eligibility after acclimation. The salary range is $180,000 to $260,000 with a sign-on bonus potential and comprehensive

Qualifications

Requires 14+ years of Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance preferred (in-scope poly within 7 years).
U.S. Citizenship required.

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Key Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years)
U.S. Citizenship
14+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.

Key Skills

Experience with Python, PySpark and AWS services (Lambdas AWS glue jobs, DynamoDB)

Location

Annapolis Junction, Maryland / Partial Telework (Telework up to 16 hours per week may be available for this position based on mission needs/available tasking at the discretion of leadership, after the individual has become fully acclimated to the duties and responsibilities of the position and has completed the necessary telework training)

Salary Range

The salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $260,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection.
