Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Rust/C++ or other systems language in OTC/trading environments
• 5+ years building real-time Linux systems
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI tools
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP socket programming
• Contributing to or leading diverse projects on large, complex software systems
• Experience with multithreading and concurrency

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain key infrastructure components of a low-latency financial platform, including trade flow management, position tracking, real-time risk, and internal reporting systems
• Develop systems to support full lifecycle of transactions from order handling to post-trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Identify and advocate changes for stability and supportability of the system
• Provide continuity and stability to the production environment
• Respond quickly to production issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability and performance
• Monitoring tools and root cause analysis

Multi-Strategy Digital Asset Fund is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in OTC to join their team. This person will play a key role in enhancing the functionality and performance of their current infrastructure. Collaborating with an experienced team, you will develop, deploy, and support real-time systems that operate with microsecond precision. Your expertise in building robust and scalable software will contribute directly to the company's critical business operations. You will also be instrumental in ensuring system stability, fault tolerance, and high throughput, while maintaining low latency and recoverability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain key infrastructure components of a low-latency financial platform, including trade flow management, position tracking, real-time risk, and internal reporting systems.
• Develop systems to support the full lifecycle of transactions-from order handling and execution to post-trade processing, settlement, clearing and reconciliation.
• Identify and advocate for changes vital to the stability and supportability of the system.
• Provide continuity and stability to the production environment.
• Provide quick response to production issues to help eliminate down time thereby ensuring high availability and performance of our trading platform.
• Monitoring tools and root cause analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years Rust/C++ or a systems language experience in an OTC/trading systems environment.
• 5+ years in building real time Linux systems.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP socket programming.
• Contributing, or leading diverse projects on large complex software systems.
• Multithreading and concurrency experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Binary or custom protocols (e.g. ITCH/OUCH).
• Linux kernel tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with crypto exchanges.
• Experience in ECN integration or development.
• Experience building strategy containers, Order Management Systems (OMS) and Execution Management Systems (EMS).
• Experience building event-driven architecture with high-performance message buses, Aeron, Kafka, RabbitMq
• Experience working with FIX or other market data/order protocols.
• Experience working with order handling or matching engines.
• Low latency/lock-free data structures and design.
