Job summary

Mojo in New York seeks a senior engineer to build and evolve high-performance, low-latency systems for real-time trading and market data. You will shape architecture for scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance, and lead cross-team technical initiatives with business and engineering partners.

You will mentor engineers, participate in the on-call rotation, and influence best practices across the backend stack, including distributed backends and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 10 years of experience with C++ and/or Java, including proven implementation of low-latency trading systems and large-scale distributed backends in quantitative electronic trading.
• Candidates should have deep knowledge of trading infrastructure and market data, expert distributed-systems skills, leadership experience in architectural initiatives, and strong communication skills.
