Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Test Solutions to design, develop, integrate, and maintain software for on-site factory support of weapon system products in Tucson, AZ. You will contribute to engineering and production environments, creating robust Windows applications and drivers, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years) and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Five years’ experience with C, C#, C++ in a .NET framework, plus Java/Python/Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate OO software in C, C#, C++ using Visual Studio on Windows.
• Prioritize and manage multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.
• Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.
• Work in a multidisciplinary engineering team environment.
• Develop and derive requirements for software products.
