Job summary

Zapata Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support software engineering activities at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). The role requires strong software engineering experience and the ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems in support of mission and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another Engineering or Technical discipline.
• Nine (9) years of professional experience within the last fifteen (15) years.

Responsibilities

• Providing functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems.
• Supporting a variety of software solutions, including application software, utility software, development software/tools, and diagnostic software.
• Participating in the development of software and system test strategies.
• Supporting the development and implementation of test devices and systems.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex software and engineering problems.
• Solving engineering problems or managing the resolution of engineering problems within the assigned functional area.
• Supporting software engineering activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
