Job summary

Capital Solutions Group (CSG) in the Ft. Meade area seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development, maintenance and operation of Pig and PySpark analytics pipelines.

You will review data ingest tickets and merge requests with teammates to ensure reliable, timely data delivery and strong data quality for end users. The role requires a strong analytics background and hands-on experience with Pig and PySpark, plus relevant certifications and degrees.

Job Description

The Software Engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and/or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingested tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team. They will focus on delivering reliable, accurate data to end users, ensuring day‑to‑day operations are successful, and investigating data arriving accurately into the system.

Qualifications

Certification: IAT Level 2 certification
