Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a software engineer with Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph for our Secure the Enterprise initiative in Linthicum, MD. The role focuses on developing capabilities to automate security evaluation and authorization, and to monitor and gather network data across the project life cycle.

You will work on Pig and PySpark analytics, ensure reliable data delivery to end users, and review data ingest tickets with fellow developers to maintain operational excellence.

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 4 additional years of software engineering may substitute for a degree.
• Experience delivering analytics using Pig and PySpark.

Responsabilidades

• Develop analytics capabilities and support automation for security evaluation and authorization processes.
• Review data ingest tickets and merge requests; collaborate with other developers to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Job Description

• As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• The engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.


• The engineer is focused on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that day-to-day operations are successful. Including being able to investigate data arriving accurately into the system.

Salary: $160,000 - $170,000 annually
