Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Boston area for a hybrid role. You will build and modernize large-scale desktop software using C#, .NET, and WPF, contributing to critical logistics and tracking systems across a global enterprise.

You will join an engineering team migrating legacy applications to current Microsoft technologies and frameworks, delivering hands-on development and enterprise-scale solutions in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of desktop software engineering in C#, .NET, and WPF.
• Must be in the Boston area.
• Experience with large-scale desktop applications and data-driven SQL databases.
• Experience modernizing legacy software platforms and API integrations.
• Some JavaScript experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

This role is a hybrid position coming into downtown Boston 2 days per week, andwe're currently only considering candidates in the Boston area.

A global software provider supporting one of the world's largest postal, retail, financial, and logistics networks is looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to its team. The organization develops software that powers counter automation, package tracking, data management, payment processing, licensing systems, banking services, and retail transactions that support billions of customer interactions across thousands of locations worldwide.

This role will be heavily focused on C#, .NET, and WPF development.

The engineering team is entering a major modernization phase, with plans to migrate legacy applications to the latest Microsoft technologies and frameworks over the coming years.
