Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the MuleSoft Platform team in Bellevue, WA. You will design, build, and ship integration capabilities and APIs at massive scale, spanning the full SDLC in a hybrid engineering model.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to align designs with platform standards, review code for quality and security, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-impact features in a distributed SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with distributed systems and large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Scala, Go, or Node.js (Java preferred).
• Solid MuleSoft Anypoint Platform knowledge and API design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-grade software with AI integration as a core part of workflow.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs in a microservices, multi-tenant cloud environment.
• Contribute to platform features including integration flows and API lifecycle management.
• Review architecture for platform adherence and security, and drive testing coverage.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in on-call production support.
