We seek a Software Engineer/Developer for NAVAIR to collaborate on mission-critical solutions for naval aviation and defense operations.

The role involves acting as a Technical Area Expert in SW Engineering to support IFC approvals, tracking software releases, and coordinating with PMA-266 SW lead/CHENG.

Qualifications

• Must have a DoD Secret clearance, with ability to obtain an Interim Top Secret to start.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Occasional CONUS travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical Area Expert (TAE) in SW Engineering for USN/USMC IFC approval in MQ-9A Reaper effort.
• Modify planning artifacts, track on-site testing, review data, and provide IFC signoff for MQ-9A software releases.
• Support IFCs for related software with Increment I/II/Future sensor capabilities for MQ-9A MALE/MQ-9A.
• Monitor MQ-9A Air Vehicle software deliverables for the Ground Control System and related equipment.
• Track MQ-9A SW Schedule and report deviations to PMA-266 SW lead/CHENG.
