Job summary

KAIROS, Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, and integration of complex software/hardware/firmware systems. You will coordinate with Government stakeholders, mentor engineers, and drive delivery of mission-critical capabilities on a DoD contract.

The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams, strong debugging and system integration skills, and a track record of delivering on schedule with quality and compliance across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline required; software/Systems Engineering preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience with 6+ years in CID/C4ISR software development.
• Experience leading engineering teams and DoW program management is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and integration of complex software/hardware/firmware systems.
• Oversee contractor execution and ensure delivery of mission-critical capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and develop workforce planning initiatives.
• Serve as primary interface with Government technical representatives on technical and schedule matters.
• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams and collaboration across disciplines.
