Job summary

Core4ce is seeking experienced Software Engineers to provide technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions for mission-critical government programs. You will lead teams, mentor engineers, and work directly with government stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable software.

Qualifications include 3+ years in software engineering, strong Python skills, Git, and containerized tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering with backend or full-stack focus.
• Proficient in Python with ability to develop, debug, and maintain apps.
• Experience with Git and distributed version control.
• Experience building and debugging containerized apps.
• Strong leadership and mentorship for junior engineers.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of mission-critical software.
• Develop microservices and REST APIs; manage event-driven and containerized apps.
• Guide Agile teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure quality testing.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and program leadership.
• Create and maintain technical docs and deployment artifacts.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability standards are met.
