ExtraHop Networks, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Middleware team to build a fault-resilient, highly available platform and customer-facing features that stop threats in their place.

You will design, develop and maintain services in Go and Python powering ExtraHop’s products. You will lead and participate in agile processes, provide technical leadership, mentor juniors and drive architectural discussions while continuously improving code quality and the tech stack.

Qualificações

• Solid knowledge of Go, Python, or an equivalent programming language.
• Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter mentality, and technical ownership.

• Join the Middleware team as a Sr. Software Engineer and help us build a fault-resilient, highly available, and customer-centric platform. In this role you will work with the team to build a scalable and secure platform and build customer-facing features that enable security and engineering teams to stop threats in their place!

• Our services and features are written primarily in Python, Golang, TypeScript and React with a focus on security, scalability, stability and type-first design. Our team develops public REST APIs, solves database scalability challenges, implements data migrations, and enables configuration management across our fleet of services
• The R(x) 360 Platform is built on AWS and GCP. It utilizes Terraform to define Infrastructure-as-Code and our services
• This platform allows us to build native product and service integrations, first‑class customer‑facing workflows, and high throughput data pipelines. Our goal is to build a reliable platform for customer‑facing services while encouraging healthy work‑life balance via automated remediation and fault‑tolerant designs
