ExtraHop Networks, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Middleware team. The role is remote within the United States (Seattle area preferred but not required). You will design, develop and maintain services in Go and Python to power our security-focused platform.
You’ll work with AWS and GCP, Terraform IaC, REST APIs, and data pipelines, delivering scalable, secure, and customer-centric features while mentoring teammates and tackling technical debt.
This position is remote within the United States. Living in the Seattle, WA area is preferred but not required.

In this role you will work with the team to build a scalable and secure platform and build customer-facing features that enable security and engineering teams to stop threats in their place! Our services and features are written primarily in Python, Golang, TypeScript and React with a focus on security, scalability, stability and type-first design. Our team develops public REST APIs, solves database scalability challenges, implements data migrations, and enables configuration management across our fleet of services.
The R(x) 360 Platform is built on AWS and GCP. It utilizes Terraform to define Infrastructure-as-Code and our services. This platform allows us to build native product and service integrations, first-class customer-facing workflows, and high throughput data pipelines. Our goal is to build a reliable platform for customer-facing services while encouraging healthy work-life balance via automated remediation and fault-tolerant designs.
The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 + bonus + benefits
