Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the cybersecurity design and analysis for multiple medical devices. You will apply state‑of‑the‑art security principles, lead projects from concept to final design with cross‑functional input, and drive cybersecurity strategies across platforms.

You will develop threat models, perform vulnerability analyses, and ensure compliance with design controls while collaborating with Regulatory, Risk, and Engineering teams to deliver secure medical

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field with 3+ years of industry experience or a Masters with 1+ years.
• Experience with threat modeling, penetration testing, fuzz testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with cybersecurity software such as Blackduck, Coverity.
• Experience with threat intelligence, CWEs and CVEs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement proof of concept projects to define innovative cybersecurity solutions for medical device platforms.
• Create, own, and maintain system requirements, architectures and risk analyses for cybersecurity of embedded and hosted devices.
• Develop threat models and perform vulnerability analysis on medical device interfaces.
• Monitor CWEs/CVEs and lead cross-functional improvements to security architecture.
• Guide discussions to resolve constraints between Engineering, Risk, Compliance and Regulatory teams.
