Job summary

Software Mind, a multicultural team of engineers, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable MEAN stack applications. You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and lead modernization efforts including RESTful APIs and data integration with Power BI.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, data analytics support, and adherence to security standards while delivering high-performance software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js).
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB and an understanding of transitioning from MongoDB to Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including database schema design, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, semantic models, dashboards, reporting, or data visualization.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, unit testing, and code optimization.
• Proven experience delivering complex software projects and mentoring engineers.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Jira.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications. This role focuses on full-stack development using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js), software architecture, database modernization, and technical leadership.
