Job summary

Higharc is seeking a pragmatic Senior Software Engineer to build the new Materials & Purchasing vertical, connecting home designs to real-world products. You’ll join a founding team and own features end-to-end, partnering with Showroom and Estimates to bring catalogs through the platform and design pricing and availability rules.

You’ll be responsible for full-stack development, rule engines, data model enrichment, and scalable architectures as this new vertical grows, with a focus on UX and

Qualifications

• 5+ years building polished, user-facing features
• Proficient with React, SQL, API design and query optimization
• Experience with configurator or rule-engine UX
• Track record of extensible production systems
• Strong UX intuition and ability to reason about constraints
• Entrepreneurial spirit; comfortable with building something new

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across UI, API, business logic, and data models
• Design and implement rule engines for pricing, inventory and availability
• Enrich home data model to connect design decisions to real products
• Architect extensible, scalable systems for a growing vertical
• Build configuration and selection experiences for interdependent choices
• Optimize backend performance including queries and indexing
• Develop complex search, filtering, and queries over large catalogs
