Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Marketplace to help scale our marketplace experience within the company’s technology platform. This role emphasizes scalable features, robust architecture, and reliable delivery.

You will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to shape solutions from design through implementation, integrating external systems and APIs while delivering well-tested code for high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 2+ years of experience with ReactJS and Typescript.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in integrating with external systems, APIs, and webhooks.
• Solid experience in architectural problem solving and design.

Responsibilities

• Write maintainable code while implementing new features.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Marketplace to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will focus on building and improving a marketplace experience within the company’s technology platform, with an emphasis on scalable features, strong architecture, and reliable delivery.

You will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to shape solutions from design through implementation. The work will involve integrating external systems and APIs, validating ideas through prototypes, and delivering well-tested code that supports high-quality user experiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $155,000 annually
