Edgesource Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Manager to lead the migration of our on-prem production system to a cloud platform. The role is full-time and onsite in the Chantilly, VA area, requiring a strong background in enterprise software, cloud strategies, and Microsoft technologies.

The ideal candidate will have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a bachelor’s degree with extensive related experience, and hands-on expertise in .NET Core, Angular/TypeScript, ASP.NET

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree plus 16 years of related work experience OR 21 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise software solutions.
• Experience supporting cloud migration efforts; experience with Angular/TypeScript.
• Experience Microsoft ASP.NET REST API.
• SQL Server database experience.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud migration efforts; on-prem infrastructure based on Windows servers with SQL Server clusters.
• Build software components in .NET Core.
• Support redesign of existing software to adopt cloud-first infrastructure.

Position Overview

Edgesource is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Manager to assist with the migration of our current on-prem production system to our customer’s cloud platform. This position requires that all job duties be performed full-time onsite in the Chantilly, VA area.

Job Duties

• Support cloud migration efforts with thecurrent on-prem infrastructure is based on Microsoft Windows servers with several Always-On SqlServer Clusters
• Build software components in .NET Core
• Support the re-design of existing software infrastructure to adopt cloud-first infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Bachelors plus 16 years of related work experience OR 21 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise software solutions
• Experience supporting cloud migration effortsExperience with Angular/Typescript
• Experience Microsoft ASP.NET REST API
• SqlServer Database experience

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED)

• Experience with Python programming language
