Job summary

Edgesource Corporation seeks an Enterprise GEOINT Integration and Systems Engineer to support joint ground architecture modernization. The role is full-time onsite in the Chantilly, VA area, requiring hands-on systems engineering, GEOINT knowledge, and experience with TCPED and NGA/NRO architectures.

Applicants should have an active TS/SCI clearance and a STEM degree or equivalent experience, with strong collaboration across government and contractor teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field or 6 years of systems engineering experience.
• 6+ years of government/industry experience in DoD/IC, acquisition, requirements, or system of systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Joint Agency Integration efforts with Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
• Provide systems engineering support covering requirements, architecture, and integration risk.
• Participate in cross-organizational IPTs for ground architecture modernization.
• Coordinate with NGA and Joint Agency Boards to drive collaboration.
• Develop RFCs and manage risks for Joint Agency modernization.
• Develop dashboards and portals to visualize Joint Agency initiatives.
• Build relationships across government and contractor teams.

Position Overview

Edgesource is seeking a highly skilledEnterprise GEOINT Integration and Systems Engineerwith hands-on Systems Engineering and Integration experience and working knowledge of GEOINT, theTCPED cycle, and the NGA and/or NRO architecture to support engineering analysis and implementation planning for Joint Ground Architecture modernization activities. This position requires that all job duties be performed full-time onsite in the Chantilly, VA area.

Job Duties

• Lead Joint Agency Integration efforts, establishing workflows, digital dashboards, and collaboration portals (Jira, Confluence, Tableau).
• Provide systems engineering support, assessing enterprise architecture, requirements, and integration impacts andrisks while contributing to test and transition activities.
• Participate in cross-organizational Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), to coordinate and implement joint ground architecture modernization projects.
• Participate in internal NGA and Joint Agency Boards, to drive cross-organizational / Agency coordination.
• Contribute to the development and enterprise coordination of Requests for Change (RFCs) and Risks associated with Joint Agency ground modernization.
• Develop digital dashboards and collaboration portals (Jira, Confluence, Tableau) to manage and creatively visualize Joint Agency initiatives.
• Build effectiverelationships across government and contractor teams.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 6 years of working experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of degree.
• 6+ years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Architecture, CONOPS, Integration, Test, Transition, Risk Management, Schedule Management, and/or Engineering Assessments).
• Familiarity / experience in the field of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)
  • Systems / services across the GEOINT Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) cycle
  • With NGA and/or its Mission Partners
  • With National, Tactical, Commercial, and/or other Data Providers

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED)

• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • SAFe principles, constructs, practices, terms, roles & associated responsibilities, products / deliverables
  • Team, Agile Release Train, and Solution Train experiences
  • SAFe implementation for Government Customers
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification(s) (Agilist, Scrum Master, Others)
• Hands-on experience facilitating Working Groups, preferably across multiple organizations and with senior leadership participation
• Experience briefing customers/clients and working with them closely on a day-to-day basis
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Stand-up and facilitation of Jira Kanbans and Backlogs
  • Creation of Epics and Features in Jira
  • Use of Jira Advanced Roadmaps
  • Development and maintenance of Confluence sites for team collaboration and as Customer portals
