Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking engineers to join the Amazon Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK) team in Seattle. You will design, build, and operate a fully managed streaming platform that enables customers to create and run applications with Apache Kafka at scale, contributing back to open source and collaborating across teams.

You should have strong background in large-scale systems, streaming data tech, and leadership experience.

Competenze

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Mansioni

• Design and build new features for the MSK platform and underlying Kafka core.
• Improve performance and scalability of streaming data processing pipelines.
• Prototype new technologies and evaluate open-source integration options.
• Collaborate with engineers and tech leaders to define roadmaps and deliver high-quality software.
