Job summary

Anexia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. You will operate, extend, and automate our stack—from physical infrastructure and virtualization to Kubernetes and CI/CD deployment infrastructure.

We expect deep Linux expertise, strong Kubernetes and networking knowledge, and experience with Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD. German and English fluency are required; you will collaborate with the Chief Solution Architect and CTO to deliver secure, high-availability

Qualifications

• Deep Linux expertise and distributed systems knowledge.
• Strong Kubernetes experience (architecture, operations, troubleshooting).
• Solid networking knowledge (routing, switching, VLANs, BGP) and observability tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD).
• Knowledge of modern GitOps and CI/CD architectures.
• Focus on security, availability, and resilience.
• Excellent German and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform stability through monitoring and proactive troubleshooting.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (M/W/D)

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you operate, extend, and automate our entire technology stack – from physical infrastructure and virtualization all the way to Kubernetes and our deployment infrastructure (CI/CD). You'll use modern workflows and automation to focus on the work that actually moves the needle.

Profile

• Ensure platform stability through monitoring as well as proactive troubleshooting and prevention
• Build automation solutions for operating and deploying all platform components
• Proactively monitor the security and currency of the software components in use, and escalates potential risks to the Chief Solution Architect and CTO (Chief Technology Officer) early
• Develop technical concepts for new platform requirements in line with the Chief Solution Architect's architectural decisions
• Document the technical setup of the infrastructure and automation solutions
• Support development teams in using the provided automation solutions and collaborate closely with development teams and the Chief Solution Architect

Wanted

• Deep Linux expertise and a strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (architecture, operations, troubleshooting) and hypervisor technologies (KVM)
• Solid knowledge of networking technologies (routing, switching, VLANs, BGP) and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation strategies (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD) as well as modern GitOps and CI/CD architectures
• Solid grasp of security, high-availability, and resilience requirements
• Strong communication skills, along with a methodical, self-driven, and structured way of working with a strong quality mindset
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
