Job summary

Saragossa is seeking a hands-on software engineer to join our technology organization in Downers Grove, IL. You will rearchitect existing applications and design new solutions with scalability, efficiency, and best practices in mind.

You’ll work across software engineering, cloud architecture, and infrastructure, collaborating with Product Managers and Quant teams to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions using Python, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS background with architecture experience.
• Proficient in Python, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building scalable production systems.
• Finance experience is helpful but not required.

Job description

You’ll be joining a leading global investment management firm with a strong technology organization supporting a wide range of investment, analytics, and business functions. The team is focused on modernizing its technology and building scalable solutions that support the firm’s continued growth.

You’ll work across software engineering, cloud architecture, and infrastructure, helping rearchitect existing applications and design new solutions built with scalability, efficiency, and best software engineering practices in mind.

You’ll use technologies like Python, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD to build and improve production systems. You’ll also work closely with Product Managers, Quantitative teams, and other engineering groups to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.,

Experience-wise, they are looking for someone with hands-on AWS background, experience with AWS architecture, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Python is important. Snowflake and an AWS Architect certification are strong pluses. Finance experience is helpful but not required.
