Job summary

Google Sunnyvale, CA, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the GGN Emulation and Infrastructure Productivity team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead core emulation projects, architecting and driving the implementation of GGN’s virtualization infrastructure using Kubernetes to accelerate testing cycles and reduce physical lab dependencies.
• Provide high-level technical leadership to emulation engineers, define design and implementation strategies, conduct architectural reviews, and resolve complex bottlenecks.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge Google technologies and cloud-native patterns to modernize the GGN Engineering Productivity stack and maintain a competitive edge.
• Establish and institutionalize industry-best practices in automated testing, code health, and agile methodologies across the organization.
