Job summary

Speechify, a leading AI-powered audio platform, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. You will help build and maintain foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, focusing on reliable APIs and scalable systems.

The ideal candidate will design end-to-end solutions, collaborate with designers, PMs, and marketers, and ship cloud functions and backend services using Kotlin.

Qualifications

• Experience designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems.
• Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and PMs.
• Experience shipping cloud functions and Kotlin-based services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and deliver cross‑platform SDK solutions.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and smarter parsing via abstractions and improved algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
