Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking engineers to design and build new features and performance improvements for the Amazon MSK service and the core Kafka platform, collaborating with engineers and leaders to shape the team roadmap.

You will contribute code back to the open-source community and mentor junior engineers, leveraging deep knowledge of distributed systems, data streaming, and software architecture to drive high-impact results.

Qualifications

Requires 5+ years of professional software development experience, including leadership in system design and architecture.
Preferred candidates have a bachelor's degree in computer science and experience with the full software development life cycle.
